You have just won gold and broken an Olympic record in your chosen event. Write a letter to a friend telling them the story and how it felt to win.

Acabas de ganar oro y rompiste un récord olímpico en tu evento elegido. Escribe una carta a un amigo contándoles la historia y cómo se sintió ganar.

Dear, Charmi

I was so nervous for the Olympics. As you know I love figure skating and I played in the Olympics. I was so nervous when I went to the ice and then I started figure skating and I did some extra jumps. After all of the other contestant did figure skating and I watched them. I thought they did better than me. Then they announced the figure skating gold medal and I heard my name and I went up the stage and I was crying and I was so proud of myself and they told me that I broke the world record and I am so happy.

Dear grandmother
Today 2/22/18 I competed in the Olympic Winter Games in South Korea with the speed skating sport, I was in the first place and I won a gold medal, I felt very nervous when I stopped at the start line, also when they called me to the podium I felt a lot of happiness and also sadness because you were not to share this achievement with me. I want to thank God for allowing me to get there and give my best. I want to thank you also because you have supported me in this dream and in everything that I propose, I want you to continue supporting me in this great achievement and that you continue to help me be better.

Dear Family, 2/22/18
Hey fam! I won a gold medal in the sport curling. I am so happy I worked my butt for it. When I get back home I will show you the gold medal. I am so joyful that I am crying right now when I am writing this letter. Did you see me play the sport curling? If you did, omg! I am lighthearted if you didn’t its ok. I am just happy that I work so hard for the medal I took all of practice, but I did it.
